We are no longer accepting donations on this campaign, but there are other ways for you to support us today!
Dear Supporter,
As we return to our annual Family Day Fundraiser this year, we want to direct our fundraising efforts to our Community Arts programs. Programs under this umbrella are FREE experiences open to all ages to participate in "no experience necessary" art making, teatro, cultural events, community based productions, and story circles. Particularly during the pandemic, these programs kept us as artists connected with our community and helped us move through feelings of isolation, grief, and helplessness. In turn, connecting with each other, either virtually or in person, helped us rejuvenate feelings of resilience, empowerment, and ignited the creativity in all of us. Our artists and community are hungry for more programming like this and we need your help to keep them ongoing!
Proceeds from our online and April 23rd Family Day fundraising efforts will directly support El Teatro Campesino’s community programming that make such an impact. These programs include: our annual Dia de los Muertos workshops and events, Community Circulos, and the expansion of free youth programs. Participants of our Community Arts programs are always multigenerational and include a large number of families participating together throughout the year.
Your donation helps to ensure we can continue to build on the success of our programming. Funds will be used in 2023 to expand outreach, hire artists and program staff, and most importantly, keep this programming free of cost.
¡Mil gracias!
